I’m Clemens — the person behind the lens.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been captivated by arthropods, fish, reptiles, and amphibians. As a kid, I would spend hours photographing and filming every little critter I could find with a compact camera. Eventually, I started sharing these images on Instagram, and over time my focus naturally narrowed to arachnids — creatures that continue to inspire me with their complexity and beauty.

The name Ectotherm Aesthetics comes from my desire to showcase cold-blooded creatures (ectotherms) in a way that highlights their elegance, strength, and detail (aesthetics). Too often, the beauty of these animals is overlooked or misunderstood. My mission is to change that — to present them in all their glory, with the highest quality and artistry I can achieve.
